THE STORY

Eleven nations, one airline

Air Afrique was created by eleven newly independent West and Central African states so they could fly under one flag together, and for four decades its DC-10s and A300s linked Abidjan and Dakar to Paris and New York. It was grounded in 2002. Our Air Afrique designs draw on the multinational years — the marks crews wore when eleven countries shared an airline.

Every garment is printed when you order it, in the USA, with the disclaimer on the label: an independent tribute, for the people who remember.
