747s for the jobs nobody else would take
Evergreen flew 747 freighters out of Oregon on contracts most airlines never saw — outsize cargo, government charters, and a converted jumbo turned into the largest air tanker in the world. It shut down at the end of 2013. Our Evergreen designs draw on the freighter years — the marks crews wore from McMinnville to everywhere.
