THE STORY

The oldest airline still flying under its own name

KLM was founded in 1919 and has carried the same name ever since — the only airline in the world that can say it. Along the way it made Schiphol a crossroads of Europe and handed its long-haul passengers little Delft blue houses. Our KLM designs draw on the classic liveries rather than today's fleet.
