The airline that made flying cheap
People Express sold seats out of Newark for less than the bus, charged for bags and coffee before anyone else dared, and made every employee a manager with shares in the company. It grew too fast, bought Frontier, and was absorbed into Continental in 1987. Our People Express designs draw on the Newark years — the marks crews wore when low-cost was brand new.
