NOTHING ON THE BOARD FOR QANTAS YET — CHECK BACK AS THE FLEET GROWS
THE STORY
The flying kangaroo
Qantas was registered in Queensland in 1920 as an outback mail and air-taxi service, put a kangaroo on the tail in 1944 and flew the Kangaroo Route to London on Constellations and then 707s. Our Qantas designs draw on the classic liveries rather than today's fleet — the marks crews wore on the long way home.
Every garment is printed when you order it, in the USA, with the disclaimer on the label: an independent tribute, for the people who remember.
Fly for Qantas? Worked the Kangaroo Route? Remember the older roo?
Tell us what we should print next — a route, a fleet, a slogan you still hear.
