Peanuts Fares
Texas International grew out of Trans-Texas Airways, and in 1977 it launched the Peanuts Fares that showed the whole industry what a cheap seat could do to a route map. Its parent bought Continental and the two combined in 1982. Our Texas International designs draw on the peanuts years — the marks crews wore out of Houston.
