THE STORY
The last name on the Allegheny line
US Airways was the end of a chain that ran back through USAir, Allegheny, Piedmont and PSA — and in January 2009 one of its A320s put down on the Hudson with everyone aboard walking away. Its final flight landed on 17 October 2015 and the name went into American. Our US Airways designs draw on those years — the marks crews wore right to the end.
